THE WORD

to be an example.

as we grow older, are we an example to the younger, weaker?

we have learnt what it means to be a responsible man/woman, and are we in the KOG?

an example in word, in deed, in faith, in purity. in our love, passion for the Lord.

on a side note,

have seen many, receiving VISION & DREAMS from the Lord.

yet, are we grateful to God for the vision He's given? such that the busyness of pursuing that dream doesnt eat away our love, passion, hunger n commitment to God and His Body (the church).

gratitude. we need more of that.

WE NEVER KNOW

life's full of them.

eventually, they make us better & bigger on the inside :)

some statements:

Restoration only happens when you really really want it.

& God honours those with broken and contrite hearts.

WITHIN

heard an awesome Word.

He is a God of new things.
to teach us how to embrace the new, He just had to do things in a totally different way.

miracle in the wedding, and not in the usual practice in the synagogue.
happened in Galilee, not in Jerusalem, where the "excitement" seems to usually be at.

They took pride in their religiousity than worshipping God.
religiousity of worshipping God vs relationship with God

took pride in their locality (building) than the heart of worship.

i teared & teared.

because this is what's been in my heart.

are we so coped up with going through the motion, yet losing the essence of the heart.

and how i long, to come back to that place where, it's at the heart of worship, where we find the breakthrough.

where creativity flows. where boldness comes. where we can make a difference.

holding on to the Word, "lean on me"

because i love seeing lives changed cos of genuine love & His Word.

and i pray, you will be inspired to be one, one day :)

forgetting all the knowledge we've all known, all the past experiences of even how we grew up in, all that we've done/seen, we let go

so as to Know Him & the power of His resurrection. no longer I who lives but Christ who lives in me.

knowing His heart, is more important than fulfilling some duties.

and knowing the heart of our ldrs, is more important than just doing what we're being told to.

been a pretty busy one, but all's glad.

heard a fren's sharing.... though as usual, somehow some parts jus slipped my ears hee, still, thankful for being able to be a listening ear. am glad you choose to overcome and not be overcomed :)

and to a fren miles away, great to hear you're doing good. & will wait for nice gifts, make sure! haha.


finally caught cloudy meatballs. NICE! at least i was 100% awake :)


enjoyed a short but good breakfast on sunday morning. & am so proud and happy to see all of them growing, doing good. and remember, our frenships last for eternity? i pray.


oh, and did i mention? had a really late supper til 3am. it was crazy. and what was all shared?! haha. but sometimes you just need moments to relax :) oops, but a fren's still suffering hangovers? keke

through it all, i thank Him for bringing me through.

tough moments, happy times, they are all a part and parcel of life :)


and to my dear frens who are going through challenges, hang on! Trust. and sometimes we never need to know why? because all we know is, He's there & everything will be alright!

Jesus loves John, but Peter loves Jesus. And Peter changed e world.

to find one who will fight with and for you, who will love what you love, desire what you desire, is not easy.

and i mean, disciples.


the price of discipleship. the price of being a disciple.
so many of us, have yet to know.


yes, it's "dangerous" grounds you're stepping on.
to the unknown. to the uncomfortable.
to the place where, you no longer ask "why" because you trust the heart.


how many can step onto those grounds?
who will qualify?

i desire.
and i pray i can find one too.

carrying the cross encompasses "no longer i who live but Christ who lives in me"

a genuine disciple is one who no longer lives for himself, but to serve one's master :)

will we? are we?

and it all begins with a choice.

PERSEVERE

to a dear friend & friend....

though we walk through the valley of shadow of death, we'll fear no evil for God is with us :)

STRENGTH

and because i love You, i will not give up.

i choose to draw near, for a fresh touch, to move on to greater grounds and heights.

with You, i can do all things through Christ.
