Eph 3:14 - 21
"..that you being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God...."
watched an amazing show. the scenes of an amazing woman.
the capacity of her heart, to go beyond, simply cos of her compassion for the child
yes, we all believe, one can make a difference.
we've watched it, been inspired, touched... and more.
yet, who... who will lay down their lives for the one person?
and i love her "strength". the inner strength.
to stand up for who she loves.
the confidence she possessed. the boldness.
worth our admiration :)

Way to Go!
heard an awesome message, and what a great way to start 2010 :)
the Word given for the year:
Joshua 1:16
Then they answered Joshua, "Whatever you have commanded us we will do, and wherever you send us we will go."
what an apt Word shared last night, and it confirmed what He spoke and placed in my heart.
the heart of a servant, and an even higher level, the heart of a bondservant.
to raise up Followers (heart of a bondservant).
the disciples left their nets/boats, to follow Jesus. because Jesus in 1 night, "released" them from their burdens, empowered them with freedom. meeting their needs.
and Jesus left them with 1 and only condition, that they would love one another.
Followers - who will follow and run after the Vision.
having the right attitude of a bondservant - it's enough to be like my master.
a desire to know the heart of my master, to follow the footsteps of my master, to obey unto the Lord, to mature - to be like Christ :)
to have a broken, contrite heart. Psa 51:17, Isa 57:15
and we follow, we obey, we serve because we love the Lord. and God is our rewarder:)

some things caught:
- a zone of love, family, of one heart, one mind, one spirit.
not to build our lives on just passion, but on relationship
(not just the moment's fire, but on day-to-day building of relationship; it's Jesus relationship with Father that gave Him the strength to do what He's called to do)
happiness vs joy.
happiness is based on external circumstances.
joy is the inner confidence that my God is for me.
enlargement of inner capacity
- wrestle with God
though Jacob was a deceitful man, yet we still study about him till this day because he learnt how to wrestle with God
"I will not let go, until You've blessed me"
breakthroughs - travailing in prayer, "wrestling" with the Lord
had an awesome night, and yes, this year, a year of Encounters, walking with Him, led by Him.
- loving God wholeheartedly, loving people fervently :)

and patience, very often it's very precious.
patience with meekness :)
- the waiting of the promise with the right attitude.
and i'm very happy to see many of my dear friends entering the year with a sense of breakthrough and destiny - yes my dear friends, i know 2010 will be the best year yet of your life, because of your patience, keeping on and loving, honouring Him more than your desires :)

overwhelmed
- the word that describes very much of how many of us felt this week.
not by the busyness/challenges, but for the more and greater things to come.
"it's been a tough year for many"
this statement... and yes, this year has been a tough one for many, and as a body.
many painful struggles, many cried their buckets.
"overwhelmed, cos knowing deep in her heart, that the breakthrough is coming, and it's gonna be a long while til she's back again"
and yes, i believe for the greater things to come.
it was an awesome night.
thankful for all the sacrifices so painfully laid down. in ways that many would not even be able to fully comprehend or know.
inspired by the love they have for Him and others.
and we never know, the seeds that we sow, can bring life to so many.

the greater
Gal 6:

So I advise you to live according to your new life in the Holy Spirit. Then you won't be doing what your sinful nature craves.

The old sinful nature loves to do evil, which is just opposite from what the Holy Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are opposite from what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, and your choices are never free from this conflict.

But when you are directed by the Holy Spirit, you are no longer subject to the law.

When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, your lives will produce these evil results: sexual immorality, impure thoughts, eagerness for lustful pleasure,

idolatry, participation in demonic activities, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, divisions, the feeling that everyone is wrong except those in your own little group,

envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other kinds of sin. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

gentleness, and self-control. Here there is no conflict with the law.

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there.

If we are living now by the Holy Spirit, let us follow the Holy Spirit's leading in every part of our lives.

Let us not become conceited, or irritate one another, or be jealous of one another.
Jesus came to serve, not to be served.

truth
real vs unreal
isn't KOG about - what can't be found out there:
love - protects, covers, unconditional
loyalty - to stay true with one heart
who are the real?
and so, what are we building our lives on?
godly values & convictions, truth of His Word,
Or, our desires, our set of ideas of what's right & wrong

sometimes, what saddens,
are the ones whom you've poured your heart and all,
yet they arent the ones for and with you.

PASSION!!
have you ever seen or known anyone that passionate?
for the vision & dream.
honestly, nothing can beat my fren. his love, passion for.....
(and i dont even dare to show those muscles. alright, to me, scary!)
still well, i cant deny the fact that
your passion & dream, rubs ALOT onto MANY.
and that reminds me of:
our vision & dream makes us
our vision & dream causes us to get others excited about it
our vision & dream requires passion and hardwork
our vision & dreams - all things are possible thru Christ :)
(and without me stating, you already know who he is, and yes that shows how passionate he is. Passion - it takes us to places we cant imagine)
