Something sweet...

Been a longg time since i lost posted something, well here's a sweet post for 2012!

Last sat, i wore a pair of boots to a holy matrimony, thinking well i'll be in air-conditioned place, should be fine. But, it was SO SO hot.

While we were enjoying the lunch reception after e ceremony, I was asking YQ is there anywhere he wanna go or have anything to buy after e lunch. He replied "I need to buy a pair of shoes"...and i was asking "are u buying for yourself? your brother?" And he said "for someone who needs a pair of shoes" And, that's me! :p

And i got a new pair of wedges, abit costly $90! And he said he'll pay for it, buy it for me.

So sweet :P hehe...

Really think i'm so blessed with a very sweet bf who loves me very much! <3 <3 *thankful!*

New wineskin & New heart

it's all about relationships.

learning to love, learning to step into the shoes of others, learning to be understanding, to be more sensitive.

it's a new season.

need to be more sensitive to the Holy Spirit. to be my guide, my teacher.

let me show the christ-like love to others, so they may experience You :)

journey...

it's been 5 months plus in this journey..

very thankful to God.

for his unfailing love and care.

at times, naughty girl whines a little, to get a little more attention.

and he always gives his best to her.

i need to learn to be...

more understanding, more thoughtful.

and all he wants is to make her happy.

this warms the heart a lot :)

A New Day

witnessed the opening at Suntec last weekend.

at the first svc, as i stood there, i am once again reminded of how i placed my life at the altar, how passionate i was, and how much i surrenderred my whole life to Him when i first came during Hollywood days.

& i want to come back to the heart of worship, of just knowing Jesus, of loving what He loves, being passionate for what He's passionate for.

give me a new heart, for the new day.

earnestness. dilligence.

& what is my cause....

i remembered that it was always in my heart to raise up a generation who is not afraid to sacrifice for the Lord, a life laid down for Him.

and as i look back, indeed, those who stayed through are ones who love the House of God, and their lives are sold out 100% to serve Him.

and yes, i wanna raise up a generation whose lives are set apart for Him, using their gifts & talents to serve Him, fulfill His purpose, with a strong love for Him & His House.


not by might or power, by the Spirit of God.

back to worship, prayer, word.

Pastor shared, many hearts are stirred but what marks one different is the Reponse of Faith to that stirring. Help me Lord to be one who steps out in Faith, not just one whose heart is stirred.

Away

Boyfren's in Switz, Zurich for 8 days.

meanwhile, it's been three weeks with him. i'm blessed...

- he remembers almost every detail of stuffs i mentioned before (which smt i dont even!)
- shows unsparing care and concern
- despite the tiring days, he always puts a smile, makes time for me

loves time with him:)

the race

often, what's all just needed is: willingness..

we all love fun, rest, holidays, dreams & desires coming to pass.

yet, often, what's all needed is...

are we willing to suffer for the Lord?

are we willing to go through the hardship?

are we willing to keep on keeping on even when things dont seem to go the way we want?

are we willing to serve even if we dont get the rewards?

are we willing to love knowing there's a risk of not getting anything back?

are we willing to be taught, given advised to...

i want to be, willing.

because i know what He is looking for is, willingness.

i am happy to be willing :)

any other ideas? well, singapore's bit limited but we can make do with creativity!

what we're all about

CHC is all about...

a group of great men and women of God with selfless faith.

and that is our DNA.

and i pray that will be all of our DNA.

not our will, not our dreams, not our own aspirations...but His kingdom come, His will be done in our lives.

because there's one thing i know for sure..

if i pursue my own dream, it may fail.

but if i pursue God's dream, He will fulfill even above and beyond my own dreams and desires.

let us live out the sacrificial faith.

greater is God :)
