the greater

Gal 6:

16.
So I advise you to live according to your new life in the Holy Spirit. Then you won't be doing what your sinful nature craves.
17.
The old sinful nature loves to do evil, which is just opposite from what the Holy Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are opposite from what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, and your choices are never free from this conflict.
18.
But when you are directed by the Holy Spirit, you are no longer subject to the law.
19.
When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, your lives will produce these evil results: sexual immorality, impure thoughts, eagerness for lustful pleasure,
20.
idolatry, participation in demonic activities, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, divisions, the feeling that everyone is wrong except those in your own little group,
21.
envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other kinds of sin. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
22.
But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23.
gentleness, and self-control. Here there is no conflict with the law.
24.
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there.
25.
If we are living now by the Holy Spirit, let us follow the Holy Spirit's leading in every part of our lives.
26.
Let us not become conceited, or irritate one another, or be jealous of one another.

- prayer: larger, bigger hearts. for our mentors, for our peers, for one another.

Jesus came to serve, not to be served.

truth

real vs unreal

isn't KOG about - what can't be found out there:

love - protects, covers, unconditional
loyalty - to stay true with one heart

who are the real?

and so, what are we building our lives on?

godly values & convictions, truth of His Word,

Or, our desires, our set of ideas of what's right & wrong

--------------------------------------------------------------

sometimes, what saddens,

are the ones whom you've poured your heart and all,

yet they arent the ones for and with you.

-------------------------------------------------------------

real vs unreal.

can they know what's in your heart...

PASSION!!

have you ever seen or known anyone that passionate?

for the vision & dream.

honestly, nothing can beat my fren. his love, passion for.....

(and i dont even dare to show those muscles. alright, to me, scary!)

still well, i cant deny the fact that

your passion & dream, rubs ALOT onto MANY.

and that reminds me of:

our vision & dream makes us
our vision & dream causes us to get others excited about it
our vision & dream requires passion and hardwork

our vision & dreams - all things are possible thru Christ :)

(and without me stating, you already know who he is, and yes that shows how passionate he is. Passion - it takes us to places we cant imagine)

true true...

to start off with a vision..

and we worked a little, did a little.

as time passed, we continued in the same effort, in the same motion of activities/actions.

nothing changes much. and the result changed hardly, or even worse, decreased in productivity/results.

and now, we give in to the "reasons" for why this and that cannot happen.

sooner or later, we lose the energy & totally gave in to the reasonings.

and now, we ask ourselves "why are we doing this? maybe this isn't the time, maybe this isn't the vision"

wow.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

new creativity. new burst of energy.

fresh encounter :)

BUT GOD, saved the day!

heart-to-heart :)

my frustration lies in, things arent happening the way, or breaking through in the way it ought to be, or should be.

and as much as i would love to help & strengthen, sometimes i wonder, how much can i do?
esp when help is not much wanted.

terms & conditions are stated out so clearly.
what can i say?

and as i saw the photos, my heart skipped.

because i wanna live a life of destiny. a life fulfilling His call, a life that's adventurous and challenging yet i know and i know i'm living out what im called to do.

and this is (& has always been) my desire.

STUCK

John 4: 34 - 38

wow, no wonder Jesus tells us to "lift up our eyes"

very often, we are not breaking through cos we have been too inward-looking.

a fren shared this today, "who doesnt have problems? we all have"

and that hit me. how true.

all of us face problems.

yet, are we going to allow ourselves to be consumed by the problems, or can we be like what the Word says, to just sow?

And what makes us differences as believers, is that in spite of our challenges, we sow. what makes us different, is not so much about our "achievements", but in our attitude.

when we have lack of time, we sow time.
when we have lack of finances, we sow finances.
when we lack the strength to go through challenges, we strengthen others.

So, are we standing out in that?

Burdened. why are we only thinking about ourselves?

"for whatever a man sows, he reaps. in e same measure we sow, in the same measure we reap"

and that's why the happiest pple arent those who are most successful in career etc, but those who have learnt the principle of sowing & reaping, of giving rather than getting :)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

& in my heart,
honestly are you fighting with me?

or are you more concerned about how you feel, what you think, what you want/desire?

do you even press in?
Or, am i always the one pressing in.

can we learn to be a disciple?

will we put aside our own dreams, and fulfill another's?

"many are called, few are chosen"
