the HARE (strong) has all it takes to win.
the ability, the knowledge, the experience.
the TORTOISE (weak) has a handicap, disadvantaged naturally.
not as strong, not as equipped, not as knowledgeable.
YET, the TORTOISE won because he chose to.
chose to fight for the victory.
chose not to give up.
chose to press on, forsaking all other distractions.
too often, we allow ourselves to become complacent. and we can even "enjoy" that complacency, that it no longer "hit" us anymore, that we've been complacent. and we become stuck at where we are. simply cos we love comfort more than.............. loving God?
and yes, we must have a great attitude.
the attitude of passion, hunger, willingness to grow.
and often, i love spending time with the weak. because they are the ones who recognise they need to grow. at one word, they'll follow.
