Moses - God's chosen
thought he was somebody ==> realised he's a nobody ==> final lap: he realised God can turn a nobody into a somebody
that involved a lot of "breaking" on the inside
Faithfulness is the cornerstone of character.
- constancy: stability, consistent, steadfast
- loyalty: firmly attached to someone, quick to stand for the cause or for someone
- submission: willingly yielding, giving, offering oneself to an authority, willingness
God commits to character, not talent.
Moses was chosen, not just called, because he has a proven character.
God looks for a broken heart and contrite spirit, and these He'll not despise.
and we laugh. we cry. we smile. we love.
